Public/Private illustrates what contemporary art often does best: address everyday life as it is lived, and sharpen the viewer’s understanding of what it means to be human in the present tense. This exhibition includes photography by Satomi Shirai; photos and drawings from architect, designer, and artist Richard Saxton; a new installation by D.C. artist Matthew Sutton; and photographs and installation from Mandy Burrow.
