aac exhibition - Public/Private
PUBLIC/PRIVATE puts together two seemingly opposed types of content in contemporary art: art about the artist's immediate surroundings, domestic sphere, and personal relationships; and art that exists out in the world, inviting or requiring the public's physical participation. The show attempts to illustrate that both types result from the same essential idea about how art and life should relate to one another in the present tense.
