Jenny Mullins received her BFA in Studio Art from The University of Texas at Austin. She has studied at the Arrowmont School of Art and later at the cultural center for the arts at Santa Chiara, Italy. She earned her MFA in the Hoffberger School of Painting at MICA in 2009. As a native Texan adopted into a traditional Indian family, she creates dense and meticulous watercolors as well as fully interactive sculptures that explore notions of American appropriation and Eastern exotification.

Ms. Mullins was awarded a Fulbright in India to study the effects of Westernization on Indian traditional and fine arts.Follow her blog, The Dharma Project, here.
